Mortgage-backed securities are also subject to prepayment risk (i.e., the risk that in a declining interest rate environment, issuers may pay principal more quickly than expected.

Emerging markets securities may be less liquid and more volatile and are subject to a number of additional risks, including but not limited to currency fluctuations and political instability.

The currency market affords investors a substantial degree of leverage. This leverage presents the potential for substantial profits but also entails a high degree of risk including the risk that losses may be similarly substantial. Such transactions are considered suitable only for investors who are experienced in transactions of that kind. Currency fluctuations will also affect the value of an investment.

Master Limited Partnerships ("MLPs") may be generally less liquid than other publicly traded securities and as such can be more volatile and involve higher risk. Investments in securities of an MLP involve risks that differ from investments in common stocks, including risks related limited control and limited rights to vote on matters affecting the MLP, risks related to potential conflicts of interest between the MLP and the MLP’s general partner, cash flow risks, dilution risks and risks related to the general partner’s right to require unit holders to sell their common units at an undesirable time or price. Different “factor” investment styles (including but not limited to, “momentum”, “value” or “low volatility”) tend to shift in and out of favor depending upon market and economic conditions as well as investor sentiment.
